Kadam and Lord Krishna:
Kadam is mentioned in most of the Indian mythological and historical literatures. The tree is associated with Lord Krishna. Radha and Krishna supposed to have conducted their love play in the hospitable and sweet-scented shade of the Kadamb. In his younger days, Krishna performed most of his famous ‘Raas-Lilas’ and also played his mesmerizing flute (Bansuri) under this particular tree.

Baanka Manmath Kadam ittar is extracted from the flowers of Kadam plant. The kadam tree has apricot-gold coloured flowers with a unique and refreshing aroma. The flower of Kadam grows during and after the Monsoon season in India.
